The New York Flora Association welcomes you

All interested persons are invited to join the New York Flora Association, a membership-based organization dedicated to the promotion of field botany and greater understanding of the plants that grow in the wild in New York State. Ours is a non-profit group funded largely by member dues and gifts, but we may also accept grant funds.


The NYFA Newsletter is published 3-4 times per year and includes announcements and updates on all things related to the flora of New York State.

All members are welcomed and encouraged to submit articles to the NYFA Newsletter. Please send any newsletter items to editor(at)nyflora.org.

All past issues of the NYFA Newsletter will be posted approximately one year after they are received by members. We encourage all who use these archived newsletters and other aspects of this website to support our work by becoming NYFA members.
